Rational Animal is an NYC media organization. Susan Brandt founded this all-volunteer organization in 2002. They create promotional campaigns that help people understand the problems animals face today. Past projects include:
• Television commercials to promote spay/neuter
• Trails to Tails Map-the animal adoption map of NYC (includes dog parks too!)
• A video for the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals to show the cultural change to No-Kill shelters.
• Gingerbread Homes for Animals annual holiday event
• Orange ribbon awareness campaign for homeless animals
NYCityPets helped out during the Gingerbread Homes event last December in Central Park. We think that Rational Animal does great work, so check them out.
