No, there is no iphone for pets. But there are pets for the iPhone and other, possibly more helpful, apps that you might be interested in trying if you have the phone. Here are a few I found interesting. Do you know of any useful or purely fun pet apps?
Off Leash (Free) by The Casual Game Network: a dog park locator
Pet Owner’s Manual ($1.99) by Phantom Particle: both a veterinarian locator (using GPS to find a vet nearest to you) and a medical reference to help you determine how best to care for your pet in an emergency
Pet CV ($4.99) by Goce Petrovski: helps you keep all the information you need about your pet in one easy place
Always forget when you gave heartworm pills? Trying to stay on a medication regiment or keep track of weight changes? You can keep all of the information here as well as ID numbers and pet-related contacts such as trainers, vets, and pet stores.
Pet notebook ($2.99) by BarnacleJive Software: a nice and tidy way to keep information on your pets in one place, accessible on your phone
Go to your veterinarian with your questions right on your phone, record vaccinations, license and microchip numbers and other important info.
iPet Photo(Free), iPet Photo Pro ($0.99), and iPet Attention ($0.99) by Andrew Weekes:
makes sounds to intrigue your pet and bring out that photogenic side of your cats and dogs
iPet Pets (Free) by Webworks and Applications: virtual pets to love and care for if you don’t want to dive in to more of a pet ownership commitment.
Bark Machine & Dog Tricks (Free for a limited time) by Robert Maran and Deidra Jones: a trainer’s best friend with pictures and instructions on how to train your dog to do a variety of fun tricks plus a Bark Machine to help keep your dog’s attention
Quad Camera ($1.99) by Takayuki Fukatsu: Captures four images on a single screen and is great for capturing pets in play mode
Dog Whistler (Free) by Mobeezio: an app that will whistle at any frequencey from 8,000 to 22,000 Hz
Dog A Log ($0.99) by inwa.com.au: breed information reference guide with photos
Proverbial Cat ($0.99) by Zap Bang Done: for a witty cat saying when you need it
Dog Years (Free) by Charles Treece: get your dog’s age and your own age in dog years so you can compare who is older, and by default wiser
Cat Toy ($0.99) by tnxbai: if your cat already makes your phone into a toy, maybe this app is for you
